Marilyn Jane Roy, 50, Anaheim, Calif., died Friday (7/25/97). Born, Lincoln. Graduate, Northeast High School; University of Nebraska. Special education teacher, Magnolia Elementary School District. Survivors: husband, James; son, Sean T., Anaheim; mother, Taki Handa, Lincoln; brother, sister-in-law, Jack and Jan Handa, Lincoln; sister, brother-in-law, Christie and Bruce Horswill, Lincoln; one nephew, three nieces, all Lincoln. Preceded in death by father, George; brother, Larry.

Jane died in 1997 after a long course of idiopathic lung disease. She continued to teach even while her energy was slipping away. Everyone who knew Jane knows she was one of the truly good people you meet in life. - Susan (Wolf) Rehm
