Robert Morgan
August 5, 1946 - July 19, 2023

Robert B. Morgan, known affectionately to many as Rob or 'King Bob', passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023, at the age of 76. Rob was born on August 5, 1946, in Seward, NE, and resided in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was known for his witty sense of humor, a dose of stubbornness, and hobby of building and fixing things. A proud U.S Navy veteran, Rob served on the USS Canberra (CAG-2) immediately after graduating from Northeast High School.

After his military service, Rob found his calling as a Machine Operator, a role he passionately filled for over 40 years at Brunning, which later became Parker Hannifin. With a can-do attitude and a keen eye for detail, Rob's work ethic was second to none. He was a committed member of the Logistics Committee for Relay for Life-Lincoln Chapter. This dedication to service, combined with his unique humor, made Robert a joy to be around and a vital part of his community.

Rob was a beloved father and grandfather, survived by his children Donna Morgan, Karri Morgan, Michael Morgan (fiancé Tracy), Jeremy Schwartz, Angela (Stan) Spurgeon, and Stacey Kirk. His legacy also lives on through his grandchildren: Colton Tichota, Taylor Morgan, Connor Suhr, Jamison Schwartz-Gamboa, Skylar Frisbie, Zachary Robison, Dustin Osland, Evan Kirk, Tyler Kirk, and Dylan Kirk. He is also survived by his siblings Rodger "Dave" (Mary Jane) Morgan, Heather (Charlie) Kozisek, and sister-in-law Marilyn (Bob) Sabatka, Nancy Kellner, Betty (Rodney Bradyway) Tomsicek, Susie McClain, Mary Ann Jacobs, Luis Fuentes, many nieces, nephews and close friends.
